For anyone who knows me personally, they know Kalee is my partner in crime on many adventures. Since you will be seeing a lot of her and hearing a lot about her in posts I’d like you all to meet her!
Here we are (she’s the brunette). The single best words to describe our adventures would be absolutely ridiculous. Both good and bad. Many of our journeys include sleeping in my car, if that tells you anything. Oh, and there was that one time we showered in a Kmart parking lot with gallons of water we bought…awkward. Or the time we jumped off a pier to save a wooden bird we named Kevin. Oh yes, and we once had to sleep on the back of a bus in Canada.
I think you get the point.
Anyways, I’m going to let Kalee introduce herself below:
What’s up world!? I’m Kalee Coss. As you can tell from the intro, I’m Shalee’s sidekick and best friend. Throughout our many adventures and road trips, Shalee and I have learned to have fun and see what there is to see, all while having a blast (even when the tensions get high, aka, me getting cranky due to lack of food).
Needless to say, we have our difference when it comes to some things, such as the times when I am in control of the music in the car and surprise Shalee every so often with a ghetto tune, or her favorite and mine, a nice country song that she secretly knows every word to. Her personal favorite is Springsteen by Eric Church, in case any of you were wondering. Also, there always has to be the person who has mini panic attacks and “what if” questions that can delay some choices… that would be me. I guess you could call me the “worrier” out of the two of us. Of course, some of the things we have gotten ourselves into I haven’t thought twice about, but you can guarantee I questioned the possibility of my identity being stolen as we were crossing the border into Canada. Seems obvious, right?
You can expect many stories that you probably won’t understand, but will make you laugh from the adventures that we have. The ridiculous, awkward, funny, and unbelievable situations we find ourselves in will hopefully show you that we are just two best friends having fun and exploring what is out there. Through the alternative language we use, and priceless memories we have, you could say we were meant to be best friends and let you all get a sneak peak as to what most of our time spent together consists of.
Have fun reading and seeing what we get ourselves into, and don’t be surprised by any of it, either! We learned that from the moment we found ourselves sleeping in our cars.
