    Just looked up one of the winter suggestions. The sleigh ride to view elk at a resort in Hillman was way too expensive for this retired teacher. Guess I will just have to continue cross country skiing this awesome, beautiful state. ..

    Tigers, Lions and/or Pistons. Meadow Brook Hall – tea, tour or Holiday Walk. Christmas Carol at Meadow Brook Theatre.

    Visiting the Les Cheneaux Islands, kayaking with Woods & Water Ecotours, renting a cabin along the water and chilling out on Lake Huron.

    This is a wonderful bucket list of sites in Michigan, but they aren’t all in the Mitten. You’ll have to cross the magnificent Mackinac Bridge to experience many of these sites. 🙂 How about checking out Tahqumenon Falls in the winter, visit Kitch-Iti-Ki-Pi-the Big Spring near Manistique in the summer, visit an abandoned copper mine or take a color tour up Brockway Mountain Drive in the Keweenaw Peninsula.

    Visit all waterfalls in UP. Drive as far north as u can Brockway mt. Visit all big lake beaches. See eagles nest.

    What about Sleeping Bear Dunes and the entire Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore. Can’t bear the beauty.
