Michigan is perhaps the most underrated state in the United States. For those that live here, we know how special it is. I’m just going to get straight to the point here with my Michigan Bucket List. These are the top 45 things to do in the Mitten before you die.

    i definitely think the list should include Kitchitikipi Springs in the U.P. google this and have a look, its another natural beauty.

    Take a tour of Michigan’s beautiful Capital in Lansing and enjoy Silver Bells in the City with the Electric Light Parade, the state Christmas tree is lit, tons of activities simutaneously occur, and the fireworks go off.
    Visit Greenfield Village and Henry Ford Museum in Dearborn MI, especially on the 4th of July with the band, picnics, and fireworks.
    Walk the Mackinaw Bridge and visit Mackinaw Island…eat pasties.
    See the Winter Carnival ice sculptures at MTU’s Winter Carnival.
    Go down into the copper mine in Hancock.
    Drive up Brockway Mountain in the Keewenaw Penninsula.
    Visit Hartwick Pines, the largest trees in Michigan.
    Visit Saugatuck, Holland, Petosky, and even little Leeland.
    Enjoy Frankenmuth.
    Art Prize in Grand Rapids.
    Visit one of the many cider mills and drive through the covered bridges in Ada, and south by Kalamazoo.
    Participate in Talons Out Honor Flights in Kalamazoo which honors WWII vets, Korean Vets, disabled vets by sending them for free to Washington DC for a day and celebrating them back.
    The list is endless!

      It’s missing many good things still. What about the Mystery Spot in St. Ignace? Or Whitefish Point? Or swimming in Lake Superior at Paradise???

    What about the AuSable Canoe Marathon? Walking the bridge on Labor Day? Lilac festival at Mackinac? Hartwick Pines?

    ………..You missed some, Like swimming in Lake Superior in April/May/June without a wet suit ….What about Henry Ford Museum? Crossing the Mighty Mac on a high wind day? lol Surviving a Michigan winter… … But living in Michigan my whole life I have done several on your list…6,13,21,28,30,32,33,35,36,39,44 & 45.
